Light intensity controllers, for underwater vehicles
Light controllers are used to avoid "soot and whitewash" in television pictures from underwater vehicles. Duddon Electronics light controllers have been used in the North Sea and throughout the world since the 1980s.
Control is by low voltage (usually 5V or 10V dc) from the user's controller. Standard voltages for lights are 120V for up to 800W per channel, and 240V for up to 1200W per channel. Each controller has two independent channels, electrically isolated from one another. Controllers are resistant to short-circuit light connections.
